Your dolphin swim begins with a transfer from your resort to the dolphinarium, where friendly bilingual trainers will meet you and brief you on how to interact with dolphins. Once you’re armed to the gills with information, it’s time to meet your sea mammal friends. They’re natural acrobats, so watch as they jump, spin and backflip through the air. They can also take things up a notch with corkscrews and speed runs, demonstrating their amazing agility.

With all these amazing acrobatics and games, you’ll really see the dolphins’ famous charisma come through. You have 50 minutes of swimming with your dolphin, so make the most of your time and see if you can learn a thing or two from these magnificent mammals.


Get ready for a boogie push and a dolphin kiss

While you’re in the water, try the ultimate trick — the boogie push. Hop on a boogie board and let the dolphin push you across the water’s surface! You better have good balance, but if you don’t, you’ll have fun making a splash. You can also try the belly ride, where you hold on tight to the dolphin’s fin as it rides backwards across the water.

Other activities you can choose from include getting a sweet kiss from your new friend, as well as shaking hands and a giving a hug as a thank you for all the fun you’ve shared together on your swim.


Learn about your Punta Cana dolphin pals

Did you know that an orca can live up to 70 years, and a bottlenose dolphin at least 40? These are some of the fun facts about dolphins you’ll find out during your swim adventure. You’ll also learn that dolphins communicate using clicks, whistles and squeaks, and you can even try and imitate these sounds at the dolphinarium.

This swimming experience will be an unforgettable way to spend your time in Punta Cana — and you can take some of those dolphin backflip tricks to the beach with you after the ride back to your resort.
